About Quest

Who we are and what we believe.

Quest Laguna Church exists to help people know Christ and grow in Him. From there, we raise disciple makers for their families, communities, workplaces, campuses, and the nations.

Our story

How Quest Laguna began.

Quest Laguna Church began with one burden: to lead people into a real relationship with Jesus Christ, and to raise disciples who would change their families, communities, workplaces, and campuses.

What began as a church planting mission in Biñan City, Laguna was officially established in December 2024 under the leadership of Pastora Apple Matabuena Eugenio. Quest Laguna Church Inc. is registered with the Securities and Exchange Commission of the Philippines.

Since then, Life Groups have been formed, leaders have been raised, and new mission points and satellite churches have opened in other communities. Our desire has never been simply a larger crowd. It has always been faithful disciples.

Three words that describe us.

Independent

We are not governed by a denomination. We answer to Scripture and follow the leading of the Holy Spirit in every decision.

Evangelical

Salvation is found in Jesus Christ alone. Sharing that good news is not a job for a few. It belongs to every believer.

Charismatic

We believe the Holy Spirit still moves today. Our faith rests on Jesus Christ, never on signs alone.

Our distinctive

A Promise-Driven Church

At Quest Laguna Church, we choose to be a Promise-Driven Church.

We believe that the size of what God has called us to do should never be determined by the size of what we can currently accomplish.

We serve a God who is far greater than our resources, abilities, experience, limitations, and circumstances. Therefore, we refuse to put God inside the boundaries of what we can see, understand, or accomplish on our own.

We do not measure God's possibilities by our capacity. We measure our capacity in light of God's promises.

Our faith is anchored not in human ability but in the character and Word of God. What God has spoken, He is faithful to fulfill. He does not lie, He does not change, and He does not make empty promises.

“God is not a man, so he does not lie. He is not human, so he does not change his mind. Has he ever spoken and failed to act? Has he ever promised and not carried it through?”Numbers 23:19

Because God is faithful, His promises give us courage to believe for things that are beyond our natural ability.

This means that when God gives us a vision that seems too big, we do not immediately ask, “Kaya ba natin?”

We first ask, “Ano ang sinabi ng Diyos?”

When the answer is bigger than our capacity, we do not shrink the vision to fit our resources. We return to His Word, strengthen our faith, prepare ourselves, and obey.

We believe that faith does not deny our limitations; faith simply refuses to make our limitations the final word.

Vision, mission, passion.

Our vision

Every Nation Harvest

To see every nation transformed by the Gospel of Jesus Christ through multiplying disciples, healthy churches, and Kingdom-minded leaders.

Our mission

Make Christlike Disciples

We exist to make disciples who know Christ personally, live according to His Word, and faithfully reproduce disciples who will do the same.

Our passion

About God

There is only one true and living God, the Creator and Sustainer of heaven and earth. He is eternal, holy, all-powerful, all-knowing, and sovereign over all creation. He has revealed Himself as one God in three Persons: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, equal in nature, glory, and authority.

  • 1 Timothy 2:5
  • Genesis 1:1
  • Colossians 1:16-17
  • Hebrews 1:3, 8
  • John 14:16-17
About the Bible

The Holy Bible is the inspired, infallible, and authoritative Word of God. It is our highest authority for faith, doctrine, and Christian living. Every teaching and practice of the Church is measured by the truth of Scripture.

  • Matthew 5:18
  • 2 Timothy 3:16-17
About humanity

Humanity was created in the image of God and declared very good. Through sin, we became spiritually dead, separated from God, and unable to save ourselves. Every person needs God's grace and redemption through Jesus Christ.

  • Genesis 1:31
  • Romans 3:23
  • Romans 6:23
  • Ephesians 2:1
About Jesus Christ

Jesus Christ is fully God and fully man. He is the eternal Son of God who became flesh to reveal the Father, redeem humanity, and reconcile sinners to God. He alone is Savior, and the only way to eternal life.

  • 1 Timothy 2:5
  • John 14:6
About the first and second coming of Christ

Jesus Christ was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the virgin Mary, and lived a sinless life. He died on the cross as the perfect sacrifice for our sins, was buried, rose bodily on the third day, ascended into heaven, and is seated at the right hand of the Father. He will return personally and visibly to establish His Kingdom.

  • Luke 1:30-35
  • Luke 2:52
  • 1 Corinthians 15:3-4
  • Acts 1:11
  • Revelation 11:15
About true followers of Jesus Christ

Salvation is entirely by God's grace, received through faith alone in Jesus Christ alone. A true follower of Christ has been born again by the Holy Spirit, forgiven, justified before God, and made a new creation to live a life that honors Him.

  • Ephesians 2:8-9
  • Romans 1:17
About the Church

Every true believer belongs to the one universal Church, the Body of Christ, of which Jesus Christ is the Head. The local church exists to worship God, proclaim the Gospel, make Christlike disciples, equip believers for ministry, and show God's love to the world until Christ returns.

  • 1 Corinthians 12:13
  • Ephesians 4:1-7
  • Ephesians 3:7-13
  • Matthew 28:18-20

We joyfully submit to the authority of God's Word, depend on the power of the Holy Spirit, and stay steadfast in making Christlike disciples for the glory of God.
